I picked up Fallout 3. It is still pretty buggy for PC (a serious memory leak), but I seriously cannot stop playing it. I remember buying 8 meg more RAM in order to play Fallout on my Pentium 75, back in the day. Anyways, I may be on not as much, at least until I beat it once.

That's why I got the console version: no system requirements. Only thing you need to worry about is the console overheating. Still haven't beat it yet, though.

But can you mod it?. The way I tweaked Oblivion, I went with PC. Besides, my rig is a powerhouse, it's just a matter of a couple patches coming out.

You got me there. But I've almost never bothered with mods. Some of the places I find them at requires an account to be able to download them. Kind of a turn-off it retrospect, if you see it that way.

I agree, mods make the game pretty good if you get the right ones.

Oh yeah, any advice for DIY wiring fixes?

I was wondering what happened when it was Double AB Faction Weekend and I didn't see Scion on. :p

I've actually looked into getting Fallout 3 myself, but haven't decided one way or the other for sure yet. Been holding off because I might be getting CoD 5 and I can only handle so many games at once.

Just as an aside, given the choice between PC and console for a shooter, 99.9% of the time I go with PC because I abhor playing a FPS with a joystick unless I absolutely have to. Mods are always a nice plus too. And my rig can handle most things I throw at it.
