Peek-a-boo: Picture time

Well thought I would start this post to invite all your new guildees, and old guildees a peek at who we are in real life! I know that I put in my introduction that I was Asian....Well here I am in real life. You can see I wasnt all that happy about getting my picture taken while in front of the computer screen!

Here is one of the few I have of me computerizing. This was a while back, good ol' Rainbow Six (straight up, the original, and still the best) in the dorms!

This is me and my river crew out working. No pictures of me at the computer, at least none I would want to share. So this one will have to do. Not sure what the deal is with me scrunching up my nose. Probably saying something iinappropriate to the person taking the pic.

hehe it's nice to see you. I had the exact same hairdo way back in 1977. Guess things don't change that much. Of course back then they called me hippie.

Well this is fun!!

The only recent picture I have of me is this one taken a few weeks ago...I always seem to be on the other side of the camera!
And yes Gunter, I have auburn (sounds so much better than plain old red!) hair as well..so we can probably have a good old temper tantrum competition!!

Ohh....look its your pony! Well Nursey its always a pleasure to see pictures of our guildees. I guess I can tease both of you now about your raving red hair, athough Gunter likes to say his hair is orange....so we can call him orange head...lol?

What kind of horse did you breed there? Nice size. Feel free to give detailed lines. >.> <.< >.>

Hey there Anansi...are you a breeder as well? They are all Warmbloods, and I usually have two or so a year. Although with the economy it is starting to look a little grim...

One colt is sired by Iron Spring Farm's stallion Sir Sinclair. Fabulous stallion and International sire, the other is by Sagnol, a Sandro Hit son. The mares are both imported from Holland, one is by Weltmeyer and the other is by Rubignon (Rubinstein/Donnerhall). They will both finish at around 16.2 or 16.3.

lol so if that is what you meant by lines, there are the lines!

Yep, exactly. I know those lines. I suspected warmbloods with that size (and lack of feathered legs), but hated to post and sound silly. I understand about the economy, I'm glad I'm not in that business with the way things have gone in the last 2 years. You have a nice investment in the mares too.

I'm a retired breeder and trainer, dressage and some 3 day. Grew up on a farm with hunters then went dressage as an adult (fairly common tale here on the east coast). I have a degenerative joint disease thought, so I sold the farm 10 years ago, and my last horse (the stallion) eight years ago when the symptoms really started to hit. I started breeding hunters/warmbloods but moved into Andalusians after being introduced to them by my in-laws. So, yes, I do appreciate the lines! Very nice looking colt there too.

Ahou.....any old pictures of your horses or farm animals? Love to see them.
