What Additions do you want to see added to the Guild Hall: MAKE 3 CHOICES
Additions to the Guild Hall
EDIT: Since the hall is now complete this thread is closed. Thanks to everyone who contributed and voted
It has been mentioned to me that many of you would like to see the additions to the guild hall grow. I know some of us could just reach into our pockets and pay for it ourselves, but that hardly makes it a Guild achievement. So my thought was that once a week, people group by levels and go out and do a hunt of their choice. The proceeds from that hunt can then be handed over to an officer and we will announce the weekly total after all groups make a contribution.
We can then purchase our additions in the order the guild votes on. The additions that we still have room for are:
Canthan Ambassador: 10,000 gold
Guild Emblemor: 10,000 gold
Priest of Balthazaar: 10,000 gold Bought
Rune trader: 25,000 goldBought
Dye trader: 50,000 gold Donated
Scroll trader: 50,000 gold
Crafting Material Trader: 100,000 gold
Rare Material Trader: 100,000 gold
Skill Trader: 100,000 gold Bought
I think it is overly difficult to pull everyone together at one specific time of the week so I am proposing that whenever a number of people are on of the same relative levels, take the initiative and party up for one run somewhere. Or, we can pick one day of the week but no specific time. Just do it when you see a few people to join you. But first I would like to see some input from all of you on this thought. If enough consider it worthy of a common goal, then we will begin making moves to start,
i also am adding a poll for people to vote on what they would like to see first added to the Hall.

Re: Additions to the Guild Hall
We had one guild hunt previously, that got us about 1.5 - 3k per person in a bout an hour. It doesn't sound like much.. but when you have an active roster of 15 - 20 people that play just about every day... you can quickly generate enough cash to make these purchases.
All it takes is 1/2 to 1 hour from each active person per week, where they devote their play time to generating cash for the purchase of services in our Guild Hall.
Please dont feel like you have to do this.. it's not required.. strictly voluntary.
But it sounds like a great idea for us as a guild to start working together to accomplish goals..
I definitely see this as a step in the right direction and will support it myself by devoting hunting time to it once per week or so.
Thanks Gunter for the post!

Re: Additions to the Guild Hall
I'll venture the tie breaker on this one -
Rune traders are available at most major outposts. This Guild Hall trader should be no different than the others (same selection and pricing).
Skill trainers at each outpost have limited skill sets. This is especially true of the early game skill trainers.
The Guild Hall Skill trader should have all Core, Non-Elite skills. That should be quite helpful to a new player who only has Ascalon City, Yak's Bend and Lion's Arch.
Best of luck farming the 100k needed to buy him.

Re: Additions to the Guild Hall
Can I throw a wrench in here and suggest getting the Priest of Balthazar before any of the other more popular choices?
My reasoning as follows:
* At only 10k, is one of the cheaper ones and should be relatively easier to purchase than the others.
* The sooner we have the PoB conveniently available for use within our hall the sooner members can start spending Balthazar Faction obtained
from Alliance Battles, Zaishen Challenges and what have you ... unlocking skills, armour mods, heroes and what not.
* More importantly, can ultimately become a cheaper method of obtaining skills for PVE use.
Once your character has hit the 1k price point for purchasing skills from a trader, a far more cheaper alternative are regular tomes
that can usually be bought for less than 1k (i've seen assassin tomes go for 250g each) Even cheaper if we have a guild stockpile of
tomes collected during any of our Hard Mode hunts.
For example ... Wingnut the Warrior wants the skill "Bring it!", skills cost him 1k and he only has 500g. He mopes around the guild
hall when he hears a whisper. "Psst, over here." from this tall dude in a long gown. "Ya you."
Wingnut walks over and sees what he has to offer and discovers he can unlock "Bring it!" with 1000 Balth faction.
Feeling all giddy-like he screams over guild chat "I NEED 1000 BALTHAZAR FACTION!" and while initially ignored
due to his use of caps, someone eventually replies, "Let's do a couple Zaishen Battles (or AB or HA or GVG, woteva)
Five minutes later ... with 1k faction under his belt he runs back to the GH and unlocks his coveted skill. Unable to
contain his excitement he screams over guild chat "WTB WARRIOR TOME 300 GOLD!!"
*crickets*
Wingnut: "Anyone?"
Rade: "I'll give you one if you'll stop using guild chat."
Wingnut (with head down, mutters softly): "ok"
Now even though Rade was mean and Wingnut feels like crap ... he now has "Bring It!" and it cost him nothing.
* Now I realize that the Priest of Balthazar is readily accessible in all the PVP waiting areas, but wouldn't it be nice to have our very own
"tall dude in a long gown" in our guild hall?
peace ... Rade

Re: Additions to the Guild Hall
In the event of a tie, the 4 guild leaders will vote on the decision. I Love Jaz is only a liason officer with the sister guild and does not have voting priviledges in this matter. If that vote is tied, I will make the final choice.
For those of you that have voted and have specific desires in this matter, i suggest you start politicking the people that have not voted. You have two days for the votes to be swung. We will make the decision on monday after the weekends Guild Bank donations are collected.
Have fun

Re: Additions to the Guild Hall
Well I was thinking that RAde was correct about the Guild Lord. I think considering the fact that the cost is only 10k, it might be wise to go with the Balthazar Priest, then the other 2 npc's in the guild hall.
Therefore, my vote is the Priest and the Skill trader.

Re: Additions to the Guild Hall
This weekend the officers got together and talked about the purchase of guild services for our guild hall. The funds that had been raised were 38K. We decided to purchase the number 2 and number 3 items off the posted poll. The number 1 item (Skill trader -- 100K) is next on the list. We decided to do it this way because it allows us to purchase two of the top 3 items people wanted, immediately. Fund raising still continues once per weekend. If you can donate, great.. if not no problem, although it is very easy to do a mission or run and donate the proceeeds from that run to the guild. (1 time per week is what we are suggesting)

Re: Additions to the Guild Hall
I am happy to announce, though we have not been pushing for the guild bank hunts, we finally managed to hit 100,000 gold on saturday and I promptly bought the skill trader. It looks like a material crafter is next on the list. Proud of all of you that helped and contributed.
If this is a new subject to you, vote for which ones you want to have next but refer to the initial post in this thread as I have edited it to reflect the NPC's we have already purchased or acquired.
