Yeah Baby!!

Well, yesterday I signed up for a poker tournament hosted by one of my buddies. I decided to pay the $50 entry fee and dominated. There had to be about 50 people there, I knew some of them just acquaintances, but besides my friend I didn't really "connect" with anyone. Kept my mouth shut most of the time and let my playing do the talking for me till some "picklehead" decide to trash talk to me. Let's just say I mopped the floor. I didn't win, but I got second. Won $1000!! Plus the top 5 get their $50. This was also "underground" and illegal, so no taxes.. So be hush hush lol. Anyways, this week I'm going out and celebrating. No, not like that, sickos! I'm talking about a brand new COMPUTER!! Gonna get me one of those fancy vista slick flat screen Computers! Hello Vabbi/EotN, goodbye crappy Compaq.

However, I may not be able to play all that much this weekend, but I'll try to get on and gloat as well as dance naked around Adrian.

...and the only way you'll dance near me is if you can find me! Heh...we got Dungeon Weekend anyway, so I'll be dungeon crawling all day Saturday. Good luck trying to find me!

I announce that Friday is national 'Run Around Adrian Naked Day' as it is my birthday, and what better way to celebrate my birthday by celebrating it with our birthday suits!!

Going to build it or buy it?

tomshardware always has a "build a compy for under 1K" that is pretty solid in terms of gaming and what can be overclocked and etc etc.

Haven't really decided. I guess it all depends on the mood I'm in. If I'm down for some gaming NOW, I'll probably just buy one of the overpriced good enough computers. If you could hook me up with a good place to get a decent cheap computer I'm willing to listen.

So what's that? About 500 for the compy without a case or power supply? Get an on sale monitor and you are looking at 700ish? This is pretty much the compy I've got right now, except I paid the full K for it a year ago.
