Idea of an Event

well I was thinking a new guild event
Alliance Battle would be a nice thing to do but not all members have factions
Not all members have Eye of the North or Nightfall

I think that most of the guild members have Prophecies Campaign

we can spend time as guild do to Tomb of the Primeval Kings aka tomb run

Tomb of the Primeval Kings is a outpost by Dragon Lair Mission

Barrage/Pet group is used during this type of run

the team consist of
5 R/Mo or R/Rt (1 Ranger with Favorable Wind)
1 MM (Minion Masters)
1 Order
1 Monk

there are 4 levels or floors in Tomb

there are chests which you can open with lockpicks (1500gp or 1.5k each)

many different type of drops

Green Item which is dropped by The Darkness they are located at the end of 4th floor

Glob of Ectoplasm which Terrorweb Dryders and Banished Dream Riders might drop during the run

Don't forget winnowing! :O

we'll have to get all rangers / necros up to this point, then we could do it.

but once we do, it should be fun O:

yeah about the winnowing lol
necro (MM) now a days been complaining about it because it has been killing off their minions
faster than the ranger killing the mob
we can try it out with winnowing and without it and see how it works
there is always time for trial and error ^_^

Note: Barrage skill can be cap at Iron Mines of Moladune Mission

As a former ToPK junkie, I would be glad to participate in any excursion to the ruins. I am able to B/P, Orders, MM and as a last resort, monk. To ease the blow of what can be a very unforgiving enviroment, we should probably do a few normal mode runs to get familiar with the surroundings, the route and what needs to be done to get to the Darknesses. When ready for hard mode, we can regularly run this to raise guild funds for Guild Hall improvements and guild/alliance events. So calling all rangers out there ... find a pet, raise it well and prepare it to die, over and over again.

Let us converge on the ruins, raise our standard ... that the monarchs buried within shall know of us. The Knights of the Cherubim!

Sounds like a great run! What type of pets do they suggest. Gosh I do like my black widow. I am assuming once I capture another pet, I am doomed to lose her.

I suggest to pick a day to do so. I just do not know what times work for people since we have such a great time spread. We might consider one of those Sunday early evenings events once in a while to get the Euros involved...but then any day I guess...(rambling)...and pull in some TSk folks!

any pet is fine for this run as long as it's level 20
the pet is pretty much work as tank =)

cause the only bear I know is Black Bear
pick any pet which you like and level it ^_^

I could see removing inspired hex for a faster recharge hex removal.. or if not concerned with hex and condition removal.. could do something like this:

unless multiple targets are getting pummled hard.. its very difficult to inflict enough damage to overpower my healing, WoH is actually MORE efficient if I let stuff get below 50% before healing.. generally I set off WoH as the target gets just below 50% .. and it completely restores their HP for 5 energy. Orison is a backup while WoH recharges, and does quite a bit itself. I can basically spam these two and counter just about any spike.. if someone is tanking a mob, I throw on the Healing breeze for a +9 Health regen or I use the Health regen to cover degen hexes while inspired hex is recharging....

Anyway.. all I'm saying is that even if the other builds are technically better.. my familiarity with this build, and its similarity in function make it the better choice if Im going to be doing the healing..

well not use enchantment skill
it is because most of the monsters there are able to strip enchantment
monk uses healer's boom is because of the fast recharge rate, but also the 50% fast cast time and the 50% more on heals
