well as it states a few friends of mine and i decided we were going to go on a motorcycle ride. well me being a show boat decided to try out a few tricks. well needless to say my lovely Honda CBR 1100 is now a junk pile. I managed to come away with 4 busted ribs and a fractured femur. lol that will teach me lol. (maybe not) any ways. I'm fine but the bike is totaled. oh well i wanted a new one anyways.

Holy moly.

You are lucky that is all you ended up with!!! How bad is the femur?? I am working surgical right now for a friend who is away for a 5 week vacation, and immediately my mind assumed pins, traction, mobilization, morphine, fluids, etc., etc....

I am actually nursing a young man right now who tried to dismount off his motorbike while he was going 80kph because he was high on coke and lost his mind. He does not look too good at the moment....

and I am tired tired tired.

I had forgotten how hard surgical is. And how long those bloody nights are. 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off. *sigh*
Hate full time work. It will be a loooong time before I agree to it again. I only agreed because they were short staffed and Lisa could not take her holiday if they could not replace her. So she is in Spain and I am stuck here.

*double sigh*

When she comes back she is gonna owe me big time.

Hope you have a speedy recovery man. Sorry to hear your bike was totalled but at least you came away from it relatively unscathed (could have been a lot worse). Take care Stryder, hope to see you around again soon.
