Keeping in touch
Well after poking and prodding at my computer for weeks and exhausting everything I can think of save for buying a new card or computer (buying a new anything is seriously not an option for a while), nothing seems to be able let me get on GW or any other game as far as I can tell (was just getting the hang of D&D Online too) for more than a few minutes. I guess I'll just have to put up with this old piece of junk for now, but until some sort of miracle decides to come my way, my computer gaming days are pretty much over.
Now, I've met some great people while I've played GW and it would be a shame to lose contact with you guys for whatever reason. And so that leads to the purpose of this thread - how about we share some ways we can stay in contact with each other?
Facebook/MySpace(if anyone still uses that)/Instant messaging/Email/Etc.
I'll start things off by putting up my e-mail and my MSN:
e-mail: fmapilis(at)gmail(dot)com
msn: exist1874(at)gmail(dot)com
Once I get around to remembering what my Facebook password is, I'll post that up too.

Re: Keeping in touch
Heya Franc,
Sorry to hear that you couldn't sort out the issues with your video card. Hopefully things look up and you can get it fixed or get a new one before GW2 comes out .
I'm also on Facebook (although I hardly ever log into it). So if anyone wants to add me then go ahead (name is Mike Culp) and my email can be found under my user profile here if anyone needs it.
I've had Xfire for a while as well and actually forgot that I had set up a TCK clan through it for the exact purpose of keeping in touch with everyone. Here is a link to the clan page....I am the only member at the moment
The Cherubim Knights Xfire Clan page
There is a link at the very top of that page for new users that need to join Xfire and install the software.
Xfire is a handy little application, I suppose the best way to describe it is that it's something like Xbox live over the PC. It's absolutely free and has quite a few cool features. It provides an easy to use and fairly fast in game web browser, as well as screen shot and video recording features. I haven't tried it yet but apparantly you can also post a live video feed of your in-game exploits as well.
As it pertains to this thread though it would give everyone a chance to keep in touch no matter what game they are playing (It supports literally every PC game ever made I think , or even if they aren't playing at all and just browsing with Xfire running. Not sure exactly how in-game voice or text chat works with it yet as I haven't tried it yet.

Re: Keeping in touch
Heya Bob!
Well, I plan to keep in touch with you all through this forum, so hopefully it will not die. I do not have a facebook account, although I do have a website for my farm. It is www.centrelinefarm.ca and you can always email me or even call me through that.
You have all been very special people in my life for a while now, and I would hate to lose touch.
I will look into that xfire thing Trytan!
take care,
n
