Re: Guild Scrimmage
With all our scrimmages, we usually try and make sure that everyone just has fun, whether we win or lose. We can be creative with our builds as well as our skill sets, and expect no one to play a certain way. We leave those organized team builds for the more elite players, or those that want to form those types of teams on their own.
As I mentioned in the old days of TSK/TCK there was a time that GvG was so important to the guild (and yes we made it to the top 100) that it isolated players, as well as pressured everyone to a point where PvP was no longer fun. If he/she could not come in with the "required skills" then they could not play. It made for some really upset players. This guild will not put any expectations on players to play like the elites, we just want to make sure that we find a variety of community get-togethers to bring the guilds together.
If we only have a few tonight, we can try an AB.

Re: Guild Scrimmage
Oh by all means...we kill the lord, henchies, everything in site.
Ok...I basically developed one rule after last weeks scrimmaging. I have no issues with a quick slapped together build but last week we spent an hour with one group putting together a build. Thats no fun at all. So my one rule is:
1. Once the teams have been picked, there will be a maximum organizational time of 5 minutes before the scrimmage begins. Exceptions will be considered by the Guild Leaders if for instance someone needs a minute to get ventrilo working...or such.
I have spoken, so sayeth the lord

Agree, guildmaster. I say two minutes, keep the fights fighting!
I'll be a little late tonight (dinner reservations at new Mexican place).
