Stupid Snow and Ice

Sorry I was a no-show last night. That ice storm that came through knocked out the power at my house around 9 that morning. Then the cell phone service went out some time after that. Finally the house phone went out. Spent the whole night bundled up under clothing and covers.

Been a whole day without power, but the cell phones are back up. Can only do it cell phone to cell phone right now, since some of the ground lines are flooded. Dunno when the power is coming back on. Might get a couple motel rooms for a while, so I'll be gone until probably Monday. But I'm at my aunt's house in town, so I'm good...but I forgot my 360 controller so I'll be bored a while longer.

Trying to make this quick, I've snuck into my aunt's home office to post this. See ya'll whenever.

Bleh...Dad's being too hard-headed about the water lines. Says he wants to make sure they don't freeze. Like it matters since he's risking getting sick AGAIN! Just turn them off and get motel rooms!
