My origami chess set
I made it out of sticky notes. It took a total of 96 sticky notes; 16 for the yellow pieces,16 for the blue pieces, and 64 for the chess board. The pieces are somewhat similar to Joseph Wu's chess set (scroll down to see the photo of his chess set). By the way the knight is a Pegasus which is kind of hard to see in the photo. I also put this up on deviant art.

Re: My origami chess set
Fantastic. Funny thing is, I was just thinking the other day how cool it'd be to have an origami chess set. Thanks for the link, will try this out sometime once I get some proper paper. How long did this take by the way? And how delicate are the pieces?

Re: My origami chess set
The chess set didn't take too long. The pieces are fairly sturdy although I would recommend getting a box for the pieces so they do not get crushed or stepped on. The other thing is they are very light so you might want to find a way of waiting them down, there is a little bit of room in the model so you can stick something in them. Other than that it is a great chess set.
P.S.-
The chess board was the pain there aren't very good diagrams for one and I had to make one up even so it took a long time folding all 64 units. It was very satisfying when I finished though.
